Únies Gonzalez is a multi-disciplinary artist working in film photography, motion picture, found objects, and the written word. Their work heavily involves their domestic life and those who reside within that personal web, as well as the projection of different emotional states.

 

They approach their work with a range of fear, love, joy, and desperation to encapsulate shared experiences, ranging from simple breakfasts to documenting a family member's home after their unexpected death. Alongside being an active artist, they hold a Lab Manager and arts facilitator role at FLATS that ranges from education to community engagement.
